Glaze & Wine

Glaze & Wine is perfect for anyone who wants to learn the basics of glazing, try different techniques and learn to combine colours and layers – no previous experience needed.

Everything you learn with us can be developed further with self-guided glazing and decorating in our self-service studio.

The workshop includes a bisque piece (a product after its first firing) that you can decorate and glaze during the workshop however your imagination takes you. Engobes, ceramic crayons, watercolours and glazes are all available, so you can combine techniques and create an original design exactly to your taste.

Guided by the instructor, you'll get to know the whole process, from preparing the piece to applying the glaze properly, and try a creative approach without stressing about the final result. The workshop suits beginners as well as advanced makers who want to deepen their knowledge and techniques.

Refreshments are available throughout, and we work in a calm, restful environment – we light candles, play pleasant music and keep the mood cheerful and friendly. A glass of wine makes the whole experience even more enjoyable and relaxed, and laughter and good spirits always have their place.

Choosing your ceramics

The workshop includes one bisque piece from us, specifically a cappuccino cup.

If you'd rather choose your ceramics on the day of the event, no problem. You can pick from our full range right at the workshop. The price per participant then depends on the piece you choose – the difference is paid on the spot by contactless card.

After the workshop

Your piece will be fired after the workshop and ready for pickup in roughly 10 days. We'll let you know it's finished by e-mail, along with pickup instructions.

Not local and travelled to join us? We're happy to ship your workshop pieces to your home for a postage fee. We ship within the Czech Republic and the EU.

Important booking information

We want you to feel comfortable with us and know in advance how everything works. Below you'll find a few important pieces of information so nothing takes you by surprise.

Cancellation policy and make-up sessions

For this workshop we are unable to offer a make-up session. Every place is reserved for you in advance, and once it's taken we can no longer offer it to anyone else.

For this reason the cancellation fee is 100 % of the course price. Please treat your booking as a final decision – it will help you avoid unnecessary complications.

Withdrawal from purchase:

If you purchase the course online, you have the legal right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of purchase and request a refund to your account.
